Junior Duck was established on March 5, 1995, on the rooftop of the Nan Thida building, a place often referred to as Yangon's VIP jetty area.
Initially, it operated only in the evenings as a bar with a limited menu of grills, salads, and appetizers, along with beverages.
What sets Junior Duck apart is not only its location at the jetty, where international cruises would dock, but also the breathtaking sunset view by the river, making it a favorite spot among tourists and locals alike.
In 1998, it extended to the ground floor, where lunch menu items are served to this day. There is also a mini playground on the ground floor where children can have a great time while their parents enjoy their food whilst overlooking without worries.
