The first-ever Golden Duck restaurant opened on March 13, 1979, at the intersection of Strand Road (Kan Nar Road) and Shwe Bon Thar Road. It was also known as the 30th Street Golden Duck due to its proximity to 30th Street.
As the name suggests, Golden Duck's specialty is its famous Roasted duck and Chinese-Myanmar fusion dishes. Our roast ducks are always served with a special red sauce, made to perfection daily. The consistent quality and taste of our roast ducks have made Golden Duck the restaurant of choice.
Other popular main dishes at Golden Duck include Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, Hot and Sour Chicken, Spicy Crispy Eel, Steamed Pork Belly with Preserved Mustard, Fish Head Soup, Potato Rolls with Prawn Stuffing, Duck Webs Salad, and Golden Duck Fried Noodle which is known for its distinctive aroma.
Additionally, factors such as fast serving time, friendly customer service, delicious food, and great value for money, have kept Golden Duck a customer favorite for over 40 years.
