Tin-R, located at No. 309, the corner of 4th Street and Anawratha Road (Kyone Gyi Road), Lanmadaw Township, was established on June 5, 1996.
Tin-R is renowned for serving authentic Myeik food in addition to the regular menu items from the Golden Duck menu. Some of the popular Myeik delicacies from Tin-R are Fried Noodles with Oyster Sauce, Myeik-Style Fried Flat Rice Noodles, Roasted Pork Belly, Roasted Pork Meat, Myeik-Style Crab Soup, Crispy Wonton with Barley Sauce, Whole Fish with Barley Sauce and Pork Tongue Salad.
For three consecutive years, from 1999 to 2002, Tin-R offered a special daily discount of 99 kyats for selected dishes during the three-month Buddhist Lent. This has led Tin-R to garner significant recognition among local customers and cemeneted itself in its neighbouring communities.
